Mwandama Millennium Village in Zomba is beneficiary to a $100, 000 Coca-Cola Company investment which drilled boreholes, installed water harvesting units, shallow wells and hand-washing facilities to 16 schools serving 15, 454 pupils. The project also promotes sanitation for 114 villages in the Mwandama Cluster. The project, officially launched on World Water Day, 22 March 2014 is in partnership with Millennium Promise. Beneficiary schools include, St Agnes, Nambande, Linjidzi, Dindi and Linthipe.
